QuickTouch

Resources

Questions people ask first. Short answers.

For device companies, hospitals and ASCs, and the clinical staff who work in the room, plus how your data is handled.

For device companies

Does QuickTouch replace Salesforce?

No. It sits beside Salesforce, not instead of it. Salesforce holds the pipeline. QuickTouch holds what happens in between, at hospitals, surgery centers and office-based labs: the visit each site agreed to, where each product stands with each committee, and the book of business your reps keep in one line a day.

How do we start, and what does it cost?

Your company starts on the Starter pack. Talk to us for the details. Every rep also gets a personal space of her own.

The paid plan is per license, with the parts you choose, monthly or annual, invoiced against your purchase order. The VAC Tracker is included, and a rep on leave keeps her license.

What is a pilot?

A plan with an end date and your license count, at a pilot price that counts toward your first year. From you: a list of reps, your catalog, and your accounts as a file. We set your space up with you.

Does the hospital have to be on QuickTouch before my rep can ask for a visit?

No. The request goes by email to the person your rep names there, and that person can answer from the email. When the hospital says yes, it lands on the account.

For hospitals & ASCs

If we accept a visit, can the rep walk in?

No. A yes here is a yes to the meeting. Your credentialing system still decides who walks in, and the visit says so to the rep.

Do our staff need an account to answer reps?

No. Staff answer reps from their inbox, no account needed. You appoint who answers, per department or per site, and reps ask through one public request address, whether or not the rep has an account.

Can we stop the requests?

Yes. You choose who answers, you can decline anyone, and you can switch the calendar off: pause it and no request reaches anyone. A hospital can pause the whole calendar. A device company cannot. Nothing a device company pays buys a way past your door.

There is no block list today: you decline each request on its own, and cannot yet refuse a company once and for all.

Can a device company see our preference cards?

Nothing reaches a company unless you share it, by a link you send and can withdraw any time. Sharing cards with reps is your switch. The card is the hospital's: when a surgeon leaves, it stays and a colleague takes it over.

Does the training record replace our learning system?

No. QuickTouch records who was invited and who was in the room, separately and by name, and exports it for your education records. It is attendance only: the competency sign-off stays in your learning records.

How do our staff join?

By invitation, by request, or by work email domain. There is no single sign-on with your directory yet, so joining by work email domain means leavers lose access when IT closes their mailbox, as with any tool. Tell us which organization is yours and we set it up with you, including who answers reps.

What does it cost?

It is priced by how much of your organization uses it: one department, such as the cath lab, the OR or education; a whole hospital or surgery center; or a health system, priced per deal. Talk to us for pricing. Physicians and clinical staff start with a profile of their own.

For clinical staff

Who gets a profile?

Physicians and clinical staff get a profile of their own, matched to their NPI.

What happens to my profile when I change hospitals?

It is yours, wherever you work next.

What does NPI matched mean?

A physician's name and NPI are matched against the national NPI registry and marked NPI matched. Other details on a profile say whether the person entered them or the organization confirmed them.

Security & data

Do you hold patient data?

No patient data flows today. Rep requests, attendance, cards and the catalog name your products and your staff, not patients. The surgical case log reaches a hospital only after a business associate agreement is signed.

How do people sign in, and who can see what?

Sign-in is by email link, password or Google, with a second check from a new device. Access is built from named permissions, and they only ever add access. Send us your security questionnaire and we answer it.

Is there an audit trail?

Yes, one audit trail nobody can edit or remove an entry from, including us. Every change records who did it, before and after, and why. It can be read per record, per workspace, or as an export. No patient or contact names go into logs or into the messages that keep screens up to date.

Whose data is it, and what happens if we leave?

A hospital's data is its own, not the vendor's, and nothing in a hospital's analytics is visible to a device company. Deletion is handled on request today, and what happens to your data if you leave is agreed in writing before you start.
