What changes
Where the work stands today, and where it stands with QuickTouch.
For device companies
Three or four people per department can say yes, each in their own inbox. Your rep texts and hopes.
The request goes to the person who can say yes. Your rep asks and gets back to work.
A hospital that isn't on QuickTouch is a dead end.
The request reaches the person your rep names there by email. The hospital doesn't need to be on QuickTouch yet.
The yes is lost the moment the thread scrolls away.
The yes lands on the account by itself.
For hospitals & ASCs
Reps arrive by text, by phone and by turning up.
One public request address and one queue, whether or not the rep has an account.
Whoever happens to pick up the phone ends up deciding.
You appoint who answers, per department or per site. They answer from their inbox, no account needed.
Saying yes to a meeting feels like opening the door.
A yes here is a yes to the meeting. Your credentialing system still decides who walks in, and the rep is told so.
You can't stop the requests, only ignore them.
Decline anyone, and say why. A hospital can pause the whole calendar. A device company cannot.
